The Vth International Conference will be held on 2-7 October 2017 and hosted by the Institute of Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia and the Ishlinsky Institute for Problems in Mechanics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. During the conference a Special Session will be organized in honour of Foreign Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia Professor Alexander Manzhirov on the occasion of his 60th birthday and to celebrate his contributions to mechanics and applied mathematics.
The conference aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and engineers to exchange and share their experience and results on all aspects of continuum mechanics. It also aims to provide the premier interdisciplinary forum for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends and concerns, practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the field of continuum mechanics.
The topics of the conference are: General Problems, Contact Mechanics, Mechanics of Growing Solids, Mechanics of Technological Processes, Mechanics of Additive Manufacturing, Thin-walled Structures, Elasticity and Viscoelasticity, Plasticity, Tribology, Fracture Mechanics, Coupled Fields in Solids, Composites, Soil Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Optimal Design and Control Theory, Mechanics of Nano-systems, Structural Mechanics, Biomechanics, Hydraulics and Hydraulic Facilities, Experimental Mechanics.
Registration forms should be sent to the conference email address or be filled online. A full regular registration fee must be paid per paper. All accepted brief papers in English or in Russian (not exceed 2 pages) will be published by the beginning of the conference in Materials of TPCM 2017. The selected full-length papers in English (not less than 5 pages) will be published in the Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS) of the Institute of Physics (IOP), indexed by Scopus. The templates and guidelines for the manuscripts preparation are available online. The official language of the Conference is English. |
