Abstract |
The reduction in the vapour pressure in a closed volume as a consequence of condensation at the interface with a cold liquid is investigation. Approximate formulae are obtained that describe the pressure drop when a vapour is in contact with cold water in the form of a liquid layer on a horizontal surface and also in the form of drops. |
